Have been enjoying making a composite print using 10x10 cm tiles and borders.
How big will it grow?!

Have been doing these for a while, enjoying the challenge of working on the small scale, and working out different ways of printing. How many will I do?
Last Autumn, we went on a 'Sunset Cruise' around the harbour and beyond!
It was not really sunset and we did not go far, but it was excellent to see the light on the water, the not inconsiderable waves, and a different viewpoint of the piers and Abbey. Lots of lino scraps to make composite prints! Enjoying the random layering, with less planning and control.
This is quite large, way too big for the Xcut, so I just had to get a first impression using a spoon to see how it was going! Cannot wait to get back to using a big press!
Just finished this print of Staithes, made on my XCut lockdown press. Quite a challenge for me, as it is can just take A4 paper. Its a reduction lino print, with 4 layers, inked up with leather dabbers.
